It has been a while since my last post, so I decided to whip up a render for the Olympics showing off the five rings. Of course showing the Olympic rings on their own would of been a bit plain so I decided to give the scene a bit more heat :P
This blog shows the work I have created using computer graphics. It encompasses 3D modeling, animations, simulations, 3D renders and other CGI creations.

I like it! I watched the opening ceremonies, and that would have fit right in!
I like your interpretation of the Olympic rings! Did you use Photoshop or another application to get the intense "fire" coloration? Too cool! As a fellow artist, I really appreciate your work...although I don't work in digital mediums.
Cheers:D
I alter textures in photoshop usually then use them in the scene, but after I made this render, it looked a tad to dark so i altered the contrast of the entire picture to make it glow more.
Why didn't you make the rings the different colors? Other than that it looks GREAT! Like the fire against the dark blue.
A few reasons for this are:
First I wanted to make a big contrast between the background and the rings.
Second the blue ring would clash with the background.
Third I did not colour the rings. They are made of a mirror material and are reflecting a fire texture.
I would love to hang that on my wall. Awesome work!
I loved seeing that, thanks
shld hv got u do my header on my blog hehe... for the olympics theme. hehe
nice one.
great tips.
I like it. The traditional version is ok, but this is dramatic. I like the dragon depicted in the blue in the background. Is that intentional or just happened that way? The fire breathing dragon that breaths olympic fire rings, great concept.
I like it very much. Thanks fo dropping me an Entrecard.

That's a pretty cool olympic image rendering.
I really like this depiction with the flames - very creative. Do you do logos and banners?
